Sactown Swings @ Elks Lodge #6!!!

Sactown Swings is the longest running swing night in Northern California, and we are happy to have the opportunity to now hold our weekly swing party at Elks Lodge #6.

The Elks Lodge has an enormous 2500 square feet (50’ x 50’) hardwood dance floor that will make your feet happy. The AC works well and you can purchase drinks at the bar in the lounge. Bring your water bottle and fill it in the drinking fountain. We look forward to seeing you dance in this beautiful space.

$10 cover charge ($15 on LIVE MUSIC night)  —— all ages welcome —— 7:00-7:45 Beginning Swing Lesson —7:45-8:00 an intermediate move for intermediate dancers (8/13 = Rock ‘n’ Roll)

8:00-10:00 Swing Social with Johnny and Ray as your DJ’s

We offer live music at least once a month. Live music night ends at 10:30.

$15 cover on live music nights.

The Leaping blennies

The Leaping Blennies played are a Sactown Swings favorite! Many of our dancers follow them around Sacramento because of their rockin’ tunes. We love them and you will too.

There is plenty of FREE and safe parking in the lot.

(Also, if there is a King’s game, you will still have plenty of FREE parking.)

First Sunday Swingout!

The next Swingout is september 7, 2025!

On the first Sunday of every month, we are swinging at The Ballroom!

6:00 = lesson       7:00-9:00 = swing social

September lesson = 6:00-7:00 = Intermediate Collegiate Shag with Stacey & Johnny

or take the specialty class for $5 extra = Intermediate/Advanced transitions class with Paul = This class will help you transition between Balboa, Lindy, Charleston, and Collegiate Shag.

(The prerequisite for Paul’s transition class is being comfortable dancing in all four of those styles.)

$5 cover       all ages welcome plenty of FREE parking
