Elvis Cantú is a Wild Records recording artist that hails from the great state of Texas and plays a traditional style of wild Rockabilly that always gets people moving and shaking. The instrumentation consists of electric guitar, upright bass, and drums, and when these guys hit the stage, the energy that follows quickly fills the room with light hearts and dancing feet. A night with Elvis will most assuredly be a night that you will never forget.
He rocks the house every single time! Sactown Swings loves Elvis Cantú. He plays fun, danceable tunes that always keep us on the floor.

The West End Quartet is made up of some of Sacramento’s finest swing and traditional musicians. Over the years, each member has traveled the country playing for Lindy exchanges, competitions, cruises, and jazz festivals. While the roots and focus of the band’s repertoire is on hot swing material from the 20-40’s, they have also been known to put a hot vintage spin on well-loved songs from other genres, such as movie or Broadway themes.
This will also be our Halloween Costume party! Come dressed in your best costume. We will have a costume contest during the first band break.

Sacramento Blues Society Hall of Fame Inductee 2024, Danny Sandoval is an accomplished saxophonist based currently Sacramento, California via the East Bay Area. His passion for music ignited at a young age, leading him to the East Bay Center for the Performing Arts in Richmond during his teenage years, where he honed his skills and nurtured his dream of becoming a professional jazz musician. By the age of 16, Danny was performing up to five nights a week in San Francisco. At 17, he had the remarkable opportunity to play alongside jazz legend Dizzy Gillespie, a highlight of his early career. Throughout his career, Danny has collaborated with renowned artists such as Sista Monica and Terrie Odabi. His performances have taken him across the nation and internationally, including appearances in Japan, Chile, Mexico, Switzerland, France and India. In recognition of his contributions to the blues genre, Danny was inducted into the Sacramento Blues Society Hall of Fame in 2024. Beyond his musical endeavors, Danny has balanced a career in public service. He has worked as an assistant in the Assembly Health Committee and held positions at the California Health Care Foundation in Sacramento. Additionally, has volunteered as a chairperson for the Intergenerational Service Commission of the West Sacramento Parks and Recreation. Danny’s dedication to both his art and community exemplifies his commitment to enriching cultural heritage and public life.
